– Approximately 20 trees
– 90 000 Litres of water (That’s two Olympic sized swimming pools)
One tonne of non recycled paper produces:
– 1.6 tonnes of green house gas emissions including nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide
If this paper / cardboard is not recycled, it will end up in land fill.
Decomposing to release methane, which is four times worse than carbon dioxide.
Here at Let’s Go Cards we choose to only use recycled materials to help save our environment.
By producing one tonne of recycle paper we are saving:
– 13 trees
– 31 780 Litres of water
– 2.5 barrels of oil
– 4100 kwh of electricity
– 4 cubic metres of landfill
